As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our team.
Position: Accounting Specialist, Internal
Responsibilities:
- Perform timely and accurate accounting entries of financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring adherence to billing schedules and payment terms.
- Generate and review client invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage the financial process and mitigate risks.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.
