IIE Organization is Hiring a Project Coordinator, Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program (Hybrid) Near Washington, DC

Job Description:

The Project Coordinator supports the Humphrey Fellowship program by performing high level administrative, coordinative, and operational work related to alumni engagement. The position performs work that requires the application of a variety of procedures, policies and procedures.

The Humphrey Fellowship Program, a Fulbright Exchange, enhances leadership among international professionals who collaborate to address local and global challenges and foster change for the collective good.

The Institute of International Education (“IIE”) has a hybrid work environment that allows team members a combination of in-office work and telework at any of the locations listed above.

Essential Functions:
  • Interacts with other team members to administer alumni outreach, award competitions, events abroad, and effective communication.
  • Drafts and prepares correspondence for alumni communications, and other written materials/documents. Duties may include proofreading and editing standard office correspondence and other written materials/documents for alumni; creating summary reports on alumni awards, accomplishments, and supported activities; and organizing documents for alumni competitions and internal review committee use.
  • Assists in updating and regular maintenance of alumni databases, records and reports. Duties may include creating of reports for external and internal use, disseminating of resource data to team members, and providing research and programmatic support as necessary.
  • Administers payment requests and invoices to support alumni awards and alumni events abroad. Duties may include working with other Humphrey team members to process award payments, prepare expense reports, assist with the creation of budgets, initiate payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Assists in directed correspondence with alumni, and daily review of the Humphrey alumni email account. May support other internal project tasks as needed.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Requires an Associate's degree and at least two years of related work experience, or combination education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Good organization skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.

Salary Range:$50,039 - $57,007. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
