The Communications and Impact Analyst oversees execution of all aspects of social media and internal and external communications for the TechWomen program including newsletters, blogs, email campaigns, press, multimedia, websites, branding and relevant reporting. Works closely with sponsoring organization (US Department of State) and engages program alumnae, mentor community and host company partners to demonstrate program impact. The role is key to demonstrating the overall success and impact of the program.
TechWomen empowers, connects and supports the next generation of women leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East by providing them the access and opportunity needed to advance their careers, pursue their dreams, and inspire women and girls in their communities.
Through mentorship and exchange, TechWomen strengthens participants’ professional capacity, increases mutual understanding between key networks of professionals, and expands girls’ interest in STEM careers by exposing them to female role models.
The Institute of International Education (“IIE”) has a hybrid work environment that allows team members a combination of in-office work and telework at any of the locations listed above.
