Job Summary:

The Sr. Associate, Stock Plan Administrator will be a key member of the iHerb legal teams who will be leading and scaling our company's stock administration function as we grow globally. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on, end-to-end administration of iHerb's global equity plans (including but not limited to phantom shares, RSUs and potentially ESPP). The administrator must be exceptionally organized, responsible, detail-oriented and resourceful.

Job Expectations:

  • Administer the company's equity plans for all employees in the U.S. and globally.
  • Manage daily operational tasks, cross-functional reporting, and projects.
  • Maintain and evaluate the company's equity database and be the main point of contact with the equity management platform.
  • Assist with the processing of transactions, the preparation and processing of equity awards, vesting, and release of restricted stock units.
  • Prepare and process restricted stock unit grants, cancellations, and exercises and releases on a timely basis for all employees and other option and equity holders.
  • Support employee understanding of equity awards and company programs and policies.
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, management, and others.
  • Coordinate Board of Directors grants, tax reporting and equity compensation communications
  • Prepare annual equity statements in the U.S. and employer filings and all government mandated reporting in the U.S. and globally.
  • Liaise with other departments, including Compensation, HR, Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Tax and Legal to ensure key stakeholders are informed and aligned as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement and document procedures to administer international Equity Plans focusing on, accuracy, customer service, efficiency, controls, and best use of available technology, while meeting the company's fiduciary responsibility and goals
  • Maintain current knowledge of global rules and regulations governing the Plans (for example, ERISA, IRS, SEC, local security and tax regulations etc.). Analyze effect of ongoing regulation changes, policy changes and prevailing practices among similar organizations on Equity Plans
  • Manage and run the equity administration of special transactions such as tender offers and secondaries.
  • Interpret equity plan documentation and policies to assist in resolving employee issues.
  • Maintain supporting documents for internal/external SOX auditors and respond accurately, thoroughly and timely to requests for data.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee questions on equity.
  • Support employee understanding of equity awards and company programs and policies and provide live and recorded presentations to new and existing employees.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • Experience with online equity management platforms
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters related to equity and taxation
  • Experience administering RSU type programs, ESPP and preferably 409 (a) plans
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification or equivalent experience
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, analytical abilities, and consistent follow-through, including project management skills
  • Ability to resolve simple and complex equity-related issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and meet critical deadlines

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of 5-7 years experience in stock administration.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience required. Active CPA license preferred, but not required.


The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company's policies. Employees will enjoy paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.
Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.

$132,000—$205,622 USD
