Compensation: $66,560.00

Job Summary: 

The Junior US Logistics Specialist will accomplish tasks under the US Logistics Team’s guidance. This position will coordinate in English with various U.S. domestic logistics companies to ensure shipments are processed and delivered efficiently and economically.

Job Expectations:

• Perform research work, gather, and analyze data for assigned lanes and projects

• Actively identify and scope new opportunities to improve how we serve customers and business processes

• Report to the Sr. Global Logistics Manager and the U.S. Logistics Team of any discrepancies of damaged or lost shipments, customs issues, and work with logistics vendors to ensure shipments are properly delivered in a timely manner

• Maintain TMS vendor rates and routings, lead times, pick up times, logos, VAT, tracking mapping, and shipping content.

• Research lost shipments, broken items and track items 

• Support Specialists by escalating issues on a regular basis to address carriers’ operational issues. 

• Perform audits, review logistics processes with the management team when needed

• Obtain quotes, prepare, and send vendor pricing update reports to the Accounting Department and the management team

• Support special projects when needed

• Support U.S. Logistics Specialist with their operational work when needed

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.

Education Requirements: 

High school diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience required.

Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
