**Description**

*Position at Glidewell Dental*

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:**

* Plans, develops, and implements training programs to coordinate order fulfillment and inventory management and control.

* Familiarizes with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.

* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

* Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

* Performs Invoice Auditing.

* Performs Couriers Auditing including the dispute and payment authorization process.

* Reconciles Carrier Claims on behalf of the company.

* Maintains annual and historical records of all carrier invoice payments and savings.

* Reconciles carrier aging reports with Accounting Department and carrier representatives.

* Conducts employee training for all shipping department positions.

* Develops ongoing individual and group training based on performance results.

* Maintain completed training list and ensures training documentation is complete.

* Maintains the training manual of standard operating procedures (SOP).

* Creates and maintains training modules in current Learning Management System (LMS)

* Manages the Logistics News & Education Site in Corporate Connection.

* Communicates all Shipping & Logistics announcements to designated groups.

* Performs frequent auditing of Shipping departments and periodic Quality Control.

* Educates employees on international shipping processes.

* Improves productivity, efficiency, and quality through process redesign and implementation of new technologies.

* Ensures actions protect company image and limits risks.

* Assists with miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned.

* Participates in software development work groups as applicable.

* Communicates system errors and/or necessary software enhancements to IT Support.

* Travels to remote lab locations to provide production support and/or training as necessary.

* Plans and conducts regular meetings with shipping and logistics personnel.

* Monitors and issues monthly Open Cases Report

* Monitors and maintains Weekly Mistake Report

**MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**

* High School Diploma or GED.

* One year of office/purchasing experience or equivalent.

* Knowledgeable in all areas of Shipping and Logistics.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Proficient English skills, written and verbal, including professional telephone manner.
