IGT International Game Technology is Hiring a Computer Operator I Near Reno, NV
The Computer Operator I will serve as the primary representative of IGT to internal and external customers through our Tier One MegaJackpots Contact Center. This team provides a 24x7x365 presence within our Network Operations Center responsible for all system activity on a high volume of games, systems and infrastructure across North America and around the world. The Operator I will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on Wide Area Progressive system and game level issues. They must follow jurisdictionally and internally established controls as well as process and triage steps to remediate any issue that may occur on the system.
- Implement front end Primary Jackpot duties.
- Address, triage and escalate other casino systems issues.
- Perform follow up responsibilities with Field Services.
- Aid team members with other duties as needed.
- Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications preferred
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain gaming card/licenses.
- Proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Proficient in data entry and basic computer troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be available to work on site and occasionally remotely
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Service Desk, call center, or customer service positions.
- Able to type 35 WPM.
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Adobe, DocuSign and/or ACD systems.
- Bi-lingual Spanish English preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40. per week
