Three Rivers Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Full Time, Social Worker/Counselor to provide quality case management and psycho-therapeutic services to our adult patients and their families; participates as a member of the treatment team in developing treatment plans; develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient; documents all clinical services provided as it pertains to social services. The Social Worker supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

Qualifications:
The minimum requirements for this position are:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
  • Current SC LMSW, LPC, or LPCI license OR Must obtain this licensure within one year of employment
  • Experience in inpatient setting preferred; written and oral communication skills; skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crisis intervention practice.
  • Knowledge of acute adult psychological disorders; advanced principles of abnormal psychology as specifically applied to adults; familiarity with follow-up resources available to adults; skills in conducting marital and family group therapy.
  • Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential; must demonstrate the ability to treat other age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization's cross-training orientation program. Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
