The LPN is in charge of the unit activities for each shift. The LPN supervises the Mental Health Technicians on the unit, administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups on the shift.

Work schedule is 7am - 7pm; three shifts per week. Scheduled days will vary and may include weekends and holidays as necessary.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Experience:

Prefer one (1) year experience as a LPN.

License:

Current LPN licensure in the State of North Carolina or compact state.

Physical requirements:

Medium Work – Exerting 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 – 25 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of these for light work. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
