IFab Corp is Hiring an Inventory Manager Near Gastonia, NC

Job Overview: As a shipping manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the shipping and receiving units of the company to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Your role involves strategic planning, team development, and ensuring efficient and effective operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for counting and monitoring product inventories at the warehouse to ensure materials align with the declared lists and documents. 
2. Ensure timely deliveries for all customers and vendors.
3. Conduct reviews and assessments to evaluate product inventories, measure, and weigh products, maintain records, open, and repack shipments, organize products according to protocols.
4. Closely supervise and monitor the productivity level of the unit’s staff to make sure goals and targets are met for the department.
5. Resolve all shipping-related issues that may arise in the company.
6. Research and reconcile differences in inventory.
7. Control and direct the movement of packages and the preparation to the delivery level.
8. Manage all shipping related documents like pick up slips and any other shipping and or delivery document. 
9. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to service level agreements.

11. Work in collaboration will all company departments and participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives. 
12. Make use of the necessary computer software to check and always track shipped orders.
13. Perform research and data analysis to monitor inventory movement, logistics metrics, and identify and lead process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Candidate must have some or all of the following Educational/Technical requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field; additional education or certification in management is a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role, demonstrating strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
• Warehouse experience: At least 2 years of experience.
• Cycle counting: Proficient in daily auditing and verifyinginventory records. 

Preferred skills and abilities:

Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities:

• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward success. 
• Sage Software: Proficient. 
• Bilingual: Spanish and English
• Proficient Creating Bin Transfers: A large part of warehouse management is cycle counting inventory and consolidating inventory management, A bin transfer is designed to move inventory between bins within a single location.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-solving: Ability to analyze situations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changes in workload, team dynamics, and organizational priorities.
• Negotiating Skills: Ability to analyze contracts and statements and identify cost-saving opportunities with our vendors.

Working Conditions:

• Typically works in an office or operational environment.
• May involve occasional travel or overtime, depending on business needs.
