ADVANCED APPLIANCE SERVICE is Hiring an Inventory Control Specialist Near Gastonia, NC

Advanced Appliance Service is a family owned and operated business providing appliance repair to Charlotte and surrounding areas for over 37 years. We are currently seeking a Parts Coordinator with the ability to ensure our customers’ needs are met with exceptional customer service while maintaining an accurate inventory by systematically receiving part shipments and processing returns for routine and day-to-day operations. 
  • Verifies incoming shipments for completeness of order.
  • Receives parts into Rossware database under the correct ticket and technician.
  • Ensure that parts are placed in the correct technician location.
  • Identifies and reports all overages and shortages.
  • Utilize System Applications to ensure remote technicians receive designated stock and parts requested for upcoming service repairs. 
  • Maintains and reorders inventory on a daily basis.
  • Participate in maintaining and taking inventory of parts stocked on a technician’s service vehicle. 
  • Receive and inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Processes returns of unused, defective or damaged parts on a daily basis. 
  • Assists customers in selecting and purchasing parts.
  • Provides pricing and processing payment from customers.
  • Establish strong work relationships with part vendors. 
  • Answers telephone promptly.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints courteously and professionally.
  • Appointment scheduling using a dispatching software.
  • Supports technicians and other office staff to efficiently assist our customers.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to flex to other departments for assistance. 
  • Demonstrated competency in Windows-based PC environment, keyboarding proficiency, internet savvy, and use of automated systems.
