This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Software Engineer, Enterprise Services supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and 3 years’ experience or bachelors degree with 5 years relevant experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support; maintaining, debugging, and configuring related software products; working from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications; assisting with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs; interfacing with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve the overall efficiency of the operating system; designing, coding, testing, and implementing tools for operations automation.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field from an accredited college.
• A current Security , CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP certification.
• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Software engineering and software development with Java/JEE experience.
• Experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management.
• Experience developing enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Java foundation classes and toolkits.
• Knowledge of server-side/database development and computer system administration.
• Experience working as part of an Agile team.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking is highly desirable.
• Use of common software development and management tools such as GitLab, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, maven or Gradle, and Eclipse.
• Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with command and control system application development.
• Automated test and pipeline development experience desired.
• Test driven development desired.
• Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
• Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scripts.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend and develop a solution.
• Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify/SonarQube mitigation

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

The proposed salary range for this position is $77.9k - $128.7k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
