This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Global Network Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and 3 years’ experience or bachelors degree with 5 years relevant experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: producing designs, including system, logical, and connectivity drawings, using DoDAF standards and present them to different engineering review boards; conducting testing of the network design; maintaining technical expertise in all network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing areas, such as routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, etc; and evaluating and reporting on new communications technologies to enhance the network's capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Engineering/Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• A current Security , CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP certification.
• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and execution of network engineering configuration changes and documentation in a complex IT environment.
• Experience in reviewing work products produced by a team of engineers for quality, completeness, and adherence to established procedures and policies.
• Experience in hands-on designing and troubleshooting networks to include Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
• Configuring Cisco and/or Juniper routers/switches and troubleshooting routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP, as well as experience with firewall technologies.
• Experience with creating system-level and connectivity diagrams is a must.
• Strong MS Visio skills are also required.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with WANs, Taclanes, and VxLAN is highly desirable.
• Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of strategic and theater missile defense weapon systems (C2BMC, Aegis, GFC/C, etc.), sensor systems, message formats (VMF, TADIL), and communications (DISN, SIPRNet, MDA CNet, GCN, etc.) environments.
• Certifications include Network , SSCP, CISSP, JNCIA, CCNA, and CCNP.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle, related processes, and traditional systems engineering skills

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

The proposed salary range for this position is $77.9k - $128.7k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
