GENERAL PURPOSE

Responsible for participating in and leading the scheduled specialty groups. Specialty groups may include relaxation training, sexuality awareness, social skills, recreational groups etc. and any other groups identified in the STP.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

·Conduct scheduled and assignedgroups.

·Plan, coordinate, implement and revise specific groupcontent.

·Developspecificlessonplansforgroupsandmaintainalibraryofsuchlessonplansforfutureuse.

·Record resident attendance participation in the groups in the weekly program attendancerecord.

·Provide1:1counselingasscheduledandasneededandonproactivebasisanddocumentresultsintheattendancerecordor medicalrecord.

·Providecrisisinterventioncounselingandsupportasneededanddocumenttheresultsinthemedicalrecord.

·Understandandfollowsafetyandsanitationrules,andpromptlyreportsandviolationstosupervisor.Adherestofacilitydresscode.

·Attendandparticipateinorientationandin-servicetrainingasrequiredbytheState.Attendfacilityin-servicesasrequired.

·Promotespositiverelationshipwithresidents,visitorsandgovt.regulators.

·Mustattendweeklyin-servicesasrequiredbytheSTPandanyothertrainingrequiredbythefacility.

QUALIFICATIONS

·High School Diploma orequivalent

·Must be capable of maintaining regularattendance
