Job Summary

The Electrical Service Technician completes service calls at various commercial environments to provide repair, maintenance and installation while practicing compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and store tools and equipment appropriately
• Local travel to job sites required, company vehicle will be provided
• Maintain accurate records for services performed including timekeeping and materials management
• Identify and repair electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Manage the completion of various electrical tasks
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting
• Manage service upgrades for our new and existing retail clients
• Interact with store/customers and maintenance department personnel
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment

Skills and Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman License preferred
• Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
• 4 years of electrical experience preferred
• Proficient with standard industry tools, techniques and codes
• Ability to read blueprints/ schematic drawings and interpret
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Title-24 requirements
• Previous experience with controls preferred
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently/ as a part of a team
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and company policies
• Valid driver’s license
• Good computer skills
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments

Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and weekends when required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
