A cupola-topped, fully renovated and revitalized factory with 68 hotel guest rooms boasts over 6,500 square feet of meeting and event space. With a ballroom fit to accommodate a 250-person event, the best candidate for this role will have depth of knowledge in group events planning and execution. As a Banquet and Event Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our events and gatherings.

To excel in this role, you should bring a wealth of experience and expertise in event planning and management. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events, from weddings, corporate meetings and retreats to social gatherings and private parties. Your attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be critical in ensuring flawless execution.

As an experienced Banquet and Event Manager, you should be well-versed in all aspects of event operations. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 45 hours per week per the IDM classification status. However, this role can expect to work approx. 50 hours per week to ensure the responsibilities of the role are completed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Banquet and Events Manager reports directly to the Director of Food and Beverage and is responsible for the supervisory responsibilities of all banquet associates based on function of position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift to 50lbs, clearly verbally communicate with employees and public. speak, hear, see, read, write, type, dial, reach, and bend.
