Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities:

• A senior composition operator must display an ability to handle complex job construction. This includes difficult trapping issues and a solid grasp of the interaction between the litho and silk-screen printing processes.
• Help other composition operators with troubleshooting problems and working through difficult composition issues.
• Training new operators;
• Taking on advanced responsibilities such as systems administration functions, preflight backup, or color correction duties.
• Electronic composition of credit cards.
• Output of hardcopy and electronic proofs.
• Maintain equipment in composition room.
• Special projects assigned by supervisor.
• Solves difficult composition issues
• Ability to read, analyze, technical procedures.
