Responsibilities
Objectives of this role
- A key focus of this role will the the develop and qualification of devices and hardware in support of our business goals
- Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs-buy perspective
- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
- Manage product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
- Develop, implement, and maintain product roadamp
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of key processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, functional requirements
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Idemia across primary market segments
Qualifications
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience in a dynamic product management/ownership role
- Specific experince in the product life cycles of internally and externally developed hardware solutions
- Proven success in overseeing key elements of the product development lifecycle
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
- US citizenship (dual citizenship not allowed)
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Degree in product design or engineering are desirable
- Product ownership/management experience the areas of B2B or B2G software products
