About Ideal Move
Ideal Move is a senior move management company (not a moving company) dedicated to helping seniors through the downsizing and relocation process when they move to a smaller home, such as a retirement community. We manage and coordinate all aspects of the transition, from downsizing decisions, furniture placement design, logistics planning, packing services, home set up services, and estate cleanouts.
The Part-Time Project Manager Role
We are looking for a part-time project manager to meet with potential clients to present our services, provide a quote, and start the planning of all components of their move, including furniture choices and floorplan design. This is a great fit for people that like interior design, have strong interpersonal skills, organization skills, and enjoy helping people. This role will provide estimates on a variety of services we offer, including downsizing, floorplan design, packing, and unpacking services.
Most of our clients are older adults who have lived in their home for many years and they are downsizing to a smaller home. Our Project Manager will help them determine which of their current furniture to take into a smaller footprint and where they will be placed.
The work is primarily performed in people’s homes in the Jacksonville and St. Augustine area. Most of the work is currently East of the St. Johns river and towards the beaches.
Hours will vary by week and should be between 5 to 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients in their homes
- Analyze client needs and develop customized solutions to meet their goals
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services
- Provide quotes to our customers
- Follow up with clients through the service delivery process
- Provide light interior design services such as furniture and new space measurements
- Work with our team to design the new furniture placement plan
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project implementation
- Monitor and track client accounts, including sales performance and customer feedback
- Provide regular reports on account status, sales activities, and revenue projections
