As a People and Culture Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our Human Resources team by contributing to various projects and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
iDE is seeking one qualified, capable, and hard-working individual to serve as the People & Culture Intern. This position is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in international development, HR practices, and employee engagement.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInternal Audits
  • Assist in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance Sr. Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
Policy/Procedure Development Support
  • Support the HR team in developing and updating company policies and procedures
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information and best practices to inform policy development
Wellness Calendar Development Support
  • Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive wellness calendar aimed at promoting employee well-being
  • Collaborate with various departments to organize wellness initiatives, events, and programs.
HR Annual Calendar Development Support
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of HR activities throughout the year
  • Assist in scheduling training sessions, performance reviews, and other HR-related events
HR Intranet Site
  • Support the maintenance and update of the HR intranet site with relevant information, resources, and announcements
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the intranet site is user-friendly and up to date
RequirementsQualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Prior internship or work experience in HR or related fields is preferred but not required
  • Fluent in English. A second language that's used in an area where we work is a plus (i.e. Spanish, Portuguese, French, Khmer, Nepali, Bengali, Swahili, etc.)
