Patient Service Rep Float Pool Full-Time Rotating at Trinity Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: At Saint Alphonsus Health System, we are looking for people who are living out their calling. We are looking to hire a Full-Time Patient Service Representative to work in our Float Pool to support our Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Clinics Work Schedule : Your schedule will be based on business needs meaning it most likely will change week to week. You will be supporting clinics such as Family Medicine, Urgent Care and Specialty clinics, anywhere from Boise, Nampa, Caldwell & Fruitland You may be scheduled for 8, 9, 10, 12-hour shifts based on clinic needs. Ability to work Holidays and weekends if needed is required. Requirements: Since this role is considered a 'Float Pool' position, the ideal candidate for this role will need have reliable transportation & open availability, in order to work any and all days and shifts times to be considered Pay Rate : This is decided based on your education and experience. This role also includes an additional $1/hr to accommodate the extra traveling. There is mileage reimbursement for certain commutes. As a Patient Service Representative you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients' administrative needs. You will be responsible for checking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance eligibility. You will also need to be comfortable using our electronic medical record to update required information. Our ideal candidate is friendly, detail oriented, a quick learner and has a passion for providing a high quality customer service experience to our patients. He or she will also need to utilize excellent communication skills while communicating with patients and families. The ability to provide superior customer service while utilizing independent decision making skills will be essential in this position.
