Position: The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is hiring an Air Quality Compliance Officer, Analyst 3 for the State Office located in Boise, Idaho. Salary Range: $28.49 - $34.00 Responsibilities: Review air emission test reports and determine compliance with applicable test methods and regulatory requirements. Observe on-site emission testing practices, when requested. Provide documentation for enforcement response on alleged violations of emission tests. Assist with preparing program guidance, policy, and compliance-related documents. Conduct inspections of regulated facilities to determine compliance with permit requirements and environmental rules and regulations. This includes reviewing historical file information; gathering and evaluating on-site evidence; reviewing facility operating procedures; interacting with facilities to provide technical and regulatory support; preparing inspection reports; and developing enforcement recommendations.
