We are growing! As a Human Resources Communication and Engagement Specialist at ICW Group you will be responsible for crafting, delivering, and maintaining content to engage ICW Group Team Members. You will develop and execute communication strategies across teams and support the development and improvement of internal HR communication platforms. Create Human Resource events and programs, promote employee engagement through internal HR communications and programs that support implementation of corporate strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develops and crafts internal HR communications that promote Team Member engagement and reinforce Company culture.

  • Develops and implements internal HR communications to build employee engagement and increase alignment and execution of the organization’s strategic priorities.
  • Develops a calendar of internal messages that will be pushed through a variety of communication mediums such as email, face-to-face, videos, events, webinars, townhalls, etc.
  • Keeps Team Members in all office locations informed on important organizational news and updates in a timely, relevant, and engaging manner.
  • Ensures delivery of regular team member communications through a range of channels, ensuring ease of access to communications, clarity, and consistency of messaging. This includes the creation and deployment of monthly newsletter and development and execution of a bi-weekly CCTV news channel.
  • Produces and creates all communications for the Executive team, including Town Halls and other key, all-hands engagement opportunities, ensuring consistent style and approach. This includes ghostwriting byline articles and company blog content on behalf of leadership.
  • Identifies and reports quantitative measures and develops feedback channels to gauge communication effectiveness and engagement, evaluates, and recommends appropriate changes.
  • Utilizes a range of digital platforms and leverages technology including digital communication channels – slack, Jabber, intranet platform, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, social media channels, and e-mail communications.

Serves as communications subject matter expert (SME) in the transition of content from the intranet/iPortal to a new electronic solution.

  • Creates and leads on projects to select a new solution for iPortal to redesign the intranet and keep content evolving, exciting, and current.
  • Manages all aspects of the intranet/employee portal, ensuring content is relevant, interesting, current, accurate, and consistent in style.
  • Researches and implements integrated communications technology for the HR department to publicize jobs, events, and executive thought leadership to team members.
  • Works with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various communication initiatives.
  • Adheres to the company’s style guide, ensuring the production of high-quality and error-free copy.
  • Acquires and maintains a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keeps up to date with relevant developments.
  • Works closely with key members from the Marketing team including the PR and Brand Strategy team to ensure all internal and external content are linked and similar in style.

Creates and leads the development of the ICW employment brand strategy.

  • Collaborates with the IT department to develop systematic means of employee engagement through communications, including all Intranet platforms.
  • Researches, sources, develops, and writes content ensuring it is credible, timely, informative, to a high standard so that it is well received by team members, working in partnership with HR Leadership Team and Marketing to ensure consistency of Brand voice and tone.
  • Collaborates with internal departments on social media campaigns and content ideas.
  • Manages social media accounts ensuring regular activity and online presence goals are met. Focuses on Talent Acquisition social media accounts to promote ICW brand, attract the most qualified candidates, and promote employee engagement.
  • Solicits, drafts, and reviews HR content for use on all approved social media accounts to ensure information is accurate and brand compliant.
  • Utilizes LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, among other social media platforms to promote internal initiatives and campaigns while strengthening employee engagement.

Develops employee recognition and engagement events and programs.

  • Researches and recommends employee engagement programs and events to ensure that help employees feel valued and drive commitment.
  • Plans and coordinates Team Member engagement activities and employee appreciation events including All Hands meetings.
  • Plans, promotes, and oversees logistics for internal events and communications that promote employee engagement and support our Team Member experience.
  • Creates and tracks metrics to measure success of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assists in the development and coordination of projects to enhance employee work experience and impact across the company.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required with a major or emphasis in Communications, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Internal communications required.
  • Experience using video, social media, and other communication technologies/tools effectively.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Demonstrated experience running projects with rigorous deadlines required.
  • Experience with employee engagement projects and programs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and other Office programs. Creative ability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills required.
  • Ability to brainstorm with and without others to create content from minimal direction.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical projects. Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to create engaging internal communications and delivering results.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION

The salary range listed for this position, $74,932.01 to $126,367.76, is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education. In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package outlined below.
