Dental Data Entry Clerk -Dental Insurance Verification Specialist

This key role is responsible for locating and transferring data by means of phone calls, faxes, and website portals into the company's computer systems.
It is imperative the Data Entry Admin is meticulous as it relates to data entry, entering numerical and alphabetized information.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have data entry skills.
Strong organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
Results-driven and can work independently.
Proven ability to analyze information.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
Dental Insurance experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify entered data meets or exceeds quality requirements.
Ensure all Personal Health Information (PHI) is kept confidential following HIPAA standards.
Professionally interacting with other staff as needed.
Verifying Insurance benefits.
Speaking with multiple insurance carriers to gather information.
Should be able to collect information and capture data promptly to ensure the business’ databases are current to accurately reflect insurance details are current.
Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
