ICONIQ’s Data & BI team is responsible for setting and executing a data strategy that creates efficiencies, systematizes processes, and reduces risk across the firm. The team is also responsible for maintaining firmwide data integrity, leading initiatives to enhance and streamline data consumption, building custom applications and aggregating a variety of data sources. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on our Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions. Reporting to the Head of Data the Senior Data Engineer will lead solutions in data warehousing and analytics to key stakeholders throughout ICONIQ.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience managing internal stakeholders to bring innovative thought leadership to the Data and BI team, while helping build scalable data solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy data-driven applications using Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript where applicable.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Integrate data sources and implement data transformation and processing.
• Build and support RESTful API endpoints allowing for front-end access to information stored in a Data Warehouse
• Drive firmwide adoption and engagement of BI & Analytics products (UI/browser based) by building and maintaining intuitive data solutions

Ideal Candidate Background:

• BS/BA in Technical Field, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.
• 7 years experience in building and enhancing web applications and data solutions using technologies such as Python/JavaScript/SQL.
• 7 years experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• 7 years experience with schema design, star schema, dimensional data modeling, and writing complex SQL statements.
• Experience with managerial responsibilities preferred, such as managing direct reports, team coordination, driving collaboration, goal setting.
• Experience analyzing and transforming large, complex, data sets.
• Ability to work with some level of ambiguity and drive roadmap or execution of vision.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $175,000 - $190,000 together with a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits program.
