Job Description:
Iconic Mars is seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager with a background in the music industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies, managing day-to-day operations, analyzing KPIs, and developing affiliate marketing programs. You will work closely with our creative team, clients, and influencers to create engaging content that connects with music fans across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies that align with client goals and music industry trends.
- Manage day-to-day operations of social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality content (graphics, videos, etc.) that reflects the client's brand and resonates with their audience.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain relationships with music influencers and other industry partners for collaborative marketing initiatives.
- Create and manage affiliate marketing programs to increase brand visibility and drive revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with industry news, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media and music marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Music Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on the music industry.
- Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns and achieving KPIs.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing and influencer partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
