**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment. **Duties:** - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Assist customers in choosing menu items, making recommendations based on their preferences - Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to prepare high-quality drinks - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils - Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of all beverages served **Requirements:** - Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation - Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently - Proficiency in cash handling and basic math for transactions - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about coffee and customer service to thrive in a dynamic cafe setting.
