As a Cost Accountant you will have ownership of product costing, account reconciliation and other accounting activities and financial analysis supporting the Aerospace business unit. This position will be located at our facility in Cranberry, PA and will be a member of Global Business Finance Support. This position reports to the Operations Accounting Manager, Aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly closing procedures such as calculating and submitting journal entries, completing analysis, and building reports.
Analyze and prepare account reconciliations to identify trends and ensure accuracy of the account balances.
Manage daily requests to cost new products and handle other costing related inquiries.
Prepare reports and analysis for multiple plant locations to support other team members.
Participate in the inventory reconciliation process for certain sites to assist the team.
Support the Operations Accounting team with other activities and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience
Outstanding PC skills and Excel knowledge such as vlookups, pivot tables and formulas
