Job Summary: The Accountant provides support and assistance to the company’s finance team as well as the sales and customer service teams. Areas of accountability include overseeing all AP input, review, posting and paying, vendor relations, month end closing, and serving as a communication link with HQ for the Finance Division.

Job Tasks and Business Decisions

• Assist Finance & Accounting Manager with the financial operations of the company covering accounting, treasury management, budgeting, audit and taxation
• Assist Finance & Accounting Manager with management reporting
• Help Manage AP activities for finance and accounting team within the function including reviewing and posting invoices processed by AP Assistants
• Compiles weekly payment selection for vendors paid by check/online/wires/ICOF SG and process outgoing payments in SAP
• Assist with month-end reporting, JV’s and other monthly closing duties
• Assist to guide and develop staff in their individual growth and refinement of critical thinking and communication
• Handles all duties related to expense report processing and credit card reconciliations
• Supports HQ with Accounting inquiries
• Works with Accounting team on tasks/issues as needed
• Drive and implement process improvement and analytical ideas for the organization to improve efficiency and profitability
• Liaise with Bankers on any banking matters within permissions
• Any other assigned duties

Required Experience regarding the job

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting focus
• At least 3 years in a Staff Accountant role
• Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• SAP Experience a plus
• Strong computer skills including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• Maintain professional appearance and communication, both in person, electronically, and via telephone
• Independently motivated to produce results
• Must have strong multi-tasking and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $65,001.00 per year
