iCode Edmond is Hiring a Summer Camp Instructor Near Edmond, OK

STEM Camp Counselor

  • iCode is a fun and energetic tech playground for children where we use engaging activities with tech to teach youth K-12 to be the innovators of tomorrow. We have a fantastic team culture where you will love coming to work and working with your teammates to fulfill this mission.
  • Part-time positions are available during the regular school year as well as Full- or Part-time seasonal positions are available for Spring Break, Christmas Break, and Summer Break.
  • The pay ranges from $11-16 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by iCode.
  • Manage an orderly classroom at all times.
  • Provide meaningful feedback about class material and student dynamics in the classroom in weekly status reports.
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of students.
  • Treats students equally and fairly.
  • Present a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintain exceptional classroom standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HTML, JavaScipt, Alice and Python.
  • Experience using Construct 3 and Unity is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Apple computers, devices and operating systems.
  • General knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Positive attitude, outgoing and excellent people skills.
  • Dependable and flexible to work evenings and weekends (during the school year).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with students ranging from K-12.
  • Strong problem–solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Being able to perform well under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
