IAPP is Hiring a Training Coordinator Near Portsmouth, NH

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is looking for a Training Coordinator to join the team.

Job Summary

The Training Coordinator is responsible for aiding course instructors to deliver a positive IAPP training experience. This includes coordinating schedule and communications logistics with instructors and monitoring live online and in-person trainings. This role interfaces with customers, clients, instructors and other IAPP teams, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills, great attention to detail and professional confidence. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task, has strong problem-solving skills, is tech savvy, flexible, collaborative and forward thinking. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate live online classes. Tasks include opening day remarks, responding to questions from the trainer and participants, introducing the instructors, and closing remarks.
  • Provide technical assistance during trainings for any video and/or audio issues.
  • Manage logistics for live online trainings including technology, recordings, scheduling, accurate email communications and feedback links.
  • Work with the Sales Fulfillment team to send out accurate and timely communication for private training clients.
  • Update process documentation for assigned responsibilities when applicable.
  • Some travel required. Travel to IAPP events include some administrative work.
  • On occasion, and with prior approval, facilitate live online trainings outside of North American time zones to accommodate enterprise clients around the world.
  • Represent the IAPP in a professional way and aligned with the IAPP values. Provide excellent customer service.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Is proficient in or able to learn technologies and programs necessary to complete tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.); and up to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
