This project is to complete phased work developing an external customer application submission portal to process the loan applications. This external portal and the associated internal business process from the legacy system have already been migrated from the legacy system. The scope of work is to develop, maintain, & implement the submission portal with robust, scalable underwriting workflow and robust/scalable/real-time RESTFUL API user interface with downstream business applications so users/customers have transparency about the status of the application as it flows thru the approval process. The workflow needs to guide the application through proper channels for rendering the final decision based on the approved workflow design. The downstream business applications that the portal will need to integrate with are the client’s Oracle Federal Financials system, an Informatica MDM COTS product, an external customer facing system, a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution, a Documentum Content Management Repository, Salesforce, DocuSign technology, and one external system: Pay.gov. The scope also includes:
Executing a full-scale data migration from the legacy system into the new database, then retire the legacy system; and
Enhance current system cybersecurity posture & meet Zero Trust Architecture Framework requirements to achieve ATO approval prior to go-live in Production.
Develop and maintain a secured MicroServices framework, which will encapsulate all business processes.
Develop a flexible, scalable, and robust system architecture
Conduct full-scale system functional and integration testing, UAT
Develop 508 compliant training materials
Hold iterative training sessions to train internal business users, external customers, and the OM&E Production support team.
Responsibilities
Adhere to industry standard Agile Project Management and development framework.
Build automated underwriting workflow seamlessly integrated with the loan submission portal.
Develop and maintain a secured Microservices framework that will encapsulate all business processes.
Develop robust RESTFUL API interfaces with systems listed in the Project Description for inbound/outbound requests to process loan data successfully, which must conform to business requirements and be aligned with established business processes of each business system.
Maintain and enhance existing landing page functionality built with Angular framework for both external/internal users.
Further, enhance landing page capability to provide users with a smooth experience and navigation from the landing page to the internal dashboard or initiate a smooth application submission process with a good user experience.
Maintain and enhance current external/internal Angular framework dashboard to list in-process, submitted Loan applications.
Create UI/UX Mockup screens.
Enhance customer's search/filter capability to allow searches for ALL historical loan application data and be able to view all information related to their transactions.
