is a MANN HUMMEL Brand. We specialize in Digital Transformation adoption, focusing particularly on digitalizing manual data collection processes.We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive (SAE) to uncover new sales opportunities for our Digital Paint Booth Filter Monitoring Platform with OEMs (Ford, GM, Stellantis, etc.) and Tier 1 Automotive suppliers. The SAE position will be home based and located within Detroit, MI. Applicants should have experience and relationships in the OEM Market, be extremely self-motivated with the ability to prospect potential customers, manage the day-to-day sales process, coordinate and lead presentations and demos.

Strategic Account Executive - Automotive

Primary location Detroit, MI and open and excited to travel 50% of year.

$70K - $85K Base - First Year OTE = $115K - $125K

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute go-to-market plans for digital solutions developed by Director of Business .
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new partnerships with other businesses, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings.
  • Build and leverage existing relationships within the strategic accounts.
  • Attend Industry convention/trade shows according to the company’s direction.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the Automotive industry including trends, business.
  • Conduct cold calling and email campaigns to generate sales meetings and demos.
  • Follow up with leads via phone, email and in person to schedule meetings.
  • Maintain and update all sales activities in CRM (HubSpot).
  • Assist in all other Sales and Marketing Activities as needed.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration, or sales related field.
  • 3 - 5 years’ Sales experience in the Automotive Industry with touch points in Paint Shop.
  • Sales experience in connected solutions and IIoT is a plus.
  • Highly coachable, eager to learn and grow their career.
  • Strong organization and planning skills, strong in follow through.
  • Business acumen and ambitious business focused mindset/skills.
  • Automotive Paint Shop Industry knowledge is a plus!
  • Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to relate to C-Level decision makers.
