strategic analyst
Location: Miami, FL
Long Term Contract
Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on market/consumer trends and competitive activities, to inform strategic decisions across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a good understanding of the wireless industry, who can synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Qualifications ● Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a strategic analysis role, preferably within the wireless or telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities ● Conduct in-depth analysis of the competitive and market landscape, identifying trends, threats, and opportunities in the wireless industry. ● Create and update various deliverables (PPT, XLS) on competitors’ products, pricing, promotions, distribution channels, strategies, and performance as well as overall market insights on the economy, retailers, OEMs, and consumers. ● Monitor industry news, events, and regulatory changes that could impact the competitive environment. ● Leverage analytics tools and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of competitive analysis. ● Leverage existing syndicated sources and synthesize data into strategic insights. ● Support strategic planning processes with data-driven insights on market dynamics and competitive positioning.
Must Have Skills ● Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends, and translate them into strategic insights. ● Ability to manage and quickly turn-around multiple projects simultaneously and with a strong attention to detail and deadlines. ● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner. ● Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. ● Identify patterns, trends, and learnings within and across disparate data sets. ● Tenacious secondary research skills with broad knowledge of publicly available resources. ● Demonstrated strength working with syndicated data sources (e.g. syndicated industry reports, analyst reports, company filings). ● Familiarity with primary research (qualitative and quantitative) ● Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, multi-tab workbooks) ● Proficient in data presentation in Microsoft PPT/Google Slides ● Basic understanding of the wireless industry. ● Adaptable and able to pivot based on immediate needs and able to learn new things quickly. Nice to Have ● Proficient in the use of analytics, BI and/or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SPSS, etc.). ● Deep understanding of the wireless industry, including all key players (carriers, OEMs, technology & distribution channels) and differentiators across prepaid and postpaid.

Pay: $41.00 - $43.00 per hour
