I-TECH Resources, Inc. is Hiring a Printing Press Operator Near Jacksonville, FL
Seeking an experienced Printing Press Operator. You would play a crucial role in operating and maintaining a Flexographic Mark Andy 8 or Nilpeter color press for client located on the south side of Jacksonville. Your primary responsibilities would include:
1. Operating the printing press: You will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating the press to produce high-quality printed materials. This includes loading/unloading materials, adjusting ink levels, controlling printing speed and pressure, and ensuring proper alignment of colors.
2. Quality control: You will need to perform regular checks to ensure that printed materials meet quality standards. This involves monitoring color accuracy, registration, print clarity, and making adjustments as needed.
3. Maintenance and troubleshooting: You will be expected to perform routine maintenance tasks on the press, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
4. Material handling: As a Printing Press Operator, you will handle various printing materials, including rolls of paper, ink, and plates. You will be responsible for loading and unloading these materials onto the press and ensuring an efficient workflow.
5. Safety and compliance: You will adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This includes following proper handling procedures for hazardous materials, wearing appropriate protective equipment, and operating machinery in a safe manner.
To excel in this role, you should have prior experience operating Flexographic Mark Andy 8 or Nilpeter color presses, but we are willing to train. Familiarity with different types of inks, printing plates, and materials used in the printing process is also beneficial. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success as a Printing Press Operator.
