General Position Summary
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the machinery operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility.
Job Duties:
· Oversee equipment modifications for process changes and new models.
· Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify manufacturing and testing equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability.
· Maintain and update all process documentation.
· Help with inventory control.
· Notify supervisor or Quality Personnel of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
· Take instructions from supervisors.
· Performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance.
· Dealing with incoming work requests.
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Cross-train to other positions as needed.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Basic hand/power tool familiarity
· Ability to work with PLC and Pneumatics

· Adequate reading, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
· Ability enter data quickly and accurately
· Ability to quickly adapt to change, proactively recognize process improvement opportunities and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting

· Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings
