Position summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Production operations ensuring the production goals are met efficiently and safely.

General purpose: The Production Supervisor supports the company efforts to ensure the hourly staff is performing their task in a safe and efficient manner.

Role qualifications

· High school diploma or GED is required.

· 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience is preferred.

· Associates degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

· Basic computer skills

Position responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers.

• Monitoring the production lines to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

• Training new employees on production processes and safety protocols.

• Implementing and maintained production schedules.

• Troubleshooting issues that arise during production.

• Collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes.

• Ensuring compliance with Company policies and safety regulations.

• Completing daily reports as required by Management.

• Other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:

· Proficient in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, etc.

· Experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Basic computer skills (ability to use email and Microsoft Excel)

· Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations.

· Ability to read and understand production goals.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes.

· Familiarity with logic controllers for automated systems

· Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.

· Willingness to work across shifts and additional hours as required; Available for business travel as required.

Nonessential skills and experience:

· Skills in database management and record keeping.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.

· Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
