Hyundai Steel Georgia is Hiring a General Affairs/ Human Resources Near Savannah, GA

Position summary: The Human Resource and General Affairs Specialist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including payroll, coordinating leave, managing company lease program, uniform program, and various other HR and GA related items.

General purpose: The Human Resource and General Affairs Specialist coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs with practices and objectives that will provide a Team Member-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Role qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • One to two years of Human Resource, Accounting or General Office experience is required.
  • Human Resources Certification is preferred.

Position responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the company.
  • Responsible for compiling and processing Company Payroll for Salaried and Hourly employees.
  • Responsible for all data entry into the ADP payroll system including new hires, changes, terminations, etc.
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Participates and conduct in meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as necessary and to represent the department.
  • Assists with Team Member communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, team member suggestions, employee surveys, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested.
  • Participates in the conduct of investigations when Team Member complaints or concerns are brought forth.
  • Make recommendations to improve the Human Resource function.
  • Responsible for data entry for SAP in relation to payroll vouchers.
  • Responsible for monthly vouchers related to Human Resource and General Affairs responsibility.
  • Oversee and manage employee uniform program.
  • Oversee and manage Company Lease car program for ex-patriots.
  • Oversee and manage Company cellphones.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or CFO.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
