General Summary :

• The Associate, Interest Rate Risk, as part of a robust treasury risk management framework, performs derivative execution, booking, settlement, reporting on regular basis;
• supports designing feasible interest rate risk mitigation strategies, analytical calculation / modules, new hedging opportunities;

streamlines data procedures; actively manages relationship with counterparties and assists hedge related compliance requests.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1.Execute hedging transactions (i.e., swaps, options, etc.), monitor and perform derivative related reporting, settlement, and other operations (including derivatives activities of HCCA).

2.Perform hedge accounting designation, periodic effectiveness test, and support derivative accounting research, documentation, and report.

3.Support data management, streamline data process, and maintain model / procedure documentation.

4.Assist risk hedging strategy, analytics, and research (including initiative for HCCA).

5.Manage derivative counterparty relationship, and ISDA document, regulation, and compliance requirement.

6.Monitor rates movements and market expectations, report on the impact to the business, and generate rate forecast scenarios.

7.Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Knowledge of fixed income, option, financial derivative, economics, corporate finance, statistics, mathematics, etc. required.
• Skills in MS Excel, SQL required, skills in VBA, R, SAS, Python etc. preferred.
• Proficient in Bloomberg, MS Power Point, and other MS Office product.
• Occasional early morning shift required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and research skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a highly time-sensitive, dynamic, and growing

environment.
