Hypercraft is Hiring a Manufacturing Planner / Expeditor Near Provo, UT

Job Summary:

The manufacturing planner will be responsible for creating a manufacturing bill of material or parts list, placing purchasing requests, tracking and reporting status of those items. This individual will be tenaciously engaged in getting the correct inventory to the build floor. We are willing to train someone with no engineering/manufacturing background as long as you are organized and savvy with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities:

Manage spreadsheets to keep accurate tracking and reporting of parts to the build floor
Expedite parts from online suppliers, stock, or local shops when needed
Create and double check parts lists from engineering drawings
Enter parts lists and bills of material into Netsuite
Keep information organized and accessible by utilizing Google Drive for filing documents.
Participate in Manufacturing performance metrics and related meetings.
Work cross functionally with other departments in order to meet business needs.
Coordinate with project managers to meet project requirements
Keep track of consumable material and place orders when supplies are low

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Spreadsheets - (The following functions would be extremely useful: vlookup, index, match, pivot tables)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Attitude of driving tasks to completion, and actively following up
Demonstrated organization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and follow through.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to work within deadlines.
A willingness to be flexible and help in whatever capacity is needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with using an integrated ERP system. NetSuite experience is a plus.
Must be a self-starter that can work effectively with little day to day oversight or direction.
