The Engineering Intern at Hypercraft will be an integral part of our Engineering team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful tasks and projects that directly affect the company’s success. The right candidate would have a passion for problem solving and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment that is experiencing innovation and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design and development of electric drivetrain components such as motors, inverters, batteries, and power distribution systems.
Support engineers in conducting tests and experiments to evaluate drivetrain performance and efficiency.
Support engineers in integration of drivetrains into test platforms and customer vehicles.
Aid in the analysis of test data and contribute to the interpretation of results.
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of drivetrain prototypes for testing and validation purposes.
Assist in documentation tasks such as creating technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
Support the investigation and resolution of any issues or challenges encountered during development or testing phases.
Adhere to company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or aerospace engineering
Experience with hardware and software integration
Experience with embedded systems
Experience with IOT devices
Must be a self-starter
Must have good communication skills
CAD experience required
Matlab experience (preferred)
Experience with electric vehicle design and integration (preferred)
