We are looking for a SharePoint & Power Platform Engineer who will act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate). This role requires an individual with in-depth knowledge and technical expertise across highly specialized applications, and operational environments, and the ability to leverage the Power Platform to develop custom business solutions. The ideal candidate will provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems, necessitating extensive subject matter knowledge for effective resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in IT systems/platforms, specifically Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments.
• Engage in all phases of systems and web application development and implementation, emphasizing planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation.
• Utilize the Power Platform to create custom solutions that streamline operations, enhance productivity, and solve complex business problems.
• Apply advanced principles and methods to solve exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in areas such as computer science, cyber security, information security, and internet applications.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, PowerApps custom applications, and workflows using Power Automate to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements and leverage the full capabilities of SharePoint and the Power Platform.
• Evaluate new and existing software products, recommending improvements or modifications as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Demonstrated ability to develop custom business solutions using Power Platform tools.
• Experience in system and web application development, including planning, analysis, testing, integration, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of computer science, cyber security, information security, and internet applications.
• Proven capability to formulate and define systems scope and objectives for IT projects.
• Proficiency in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software programs and Power Platform solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, developers, and end users.

Working Conditions:

• This role will require onsite work at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL 2-3x per week.
• The position requires a DoD Secret Clearance.
• The candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic and collaborative virtual environment, often coordinating with different teams and responding to rapidly changing requirements.
