Summary

The Assistant Sales Manager (entry- level in person) will work directly with the Corporate Sales Team in Beachwood, Ohio. In this position it will require the solicitation, planning, strategy, booking, and execution of all private events working with all 12 restaurants in the United States. The ideal candidate should possess administrative experience with a dynamic personality to support the sales team. Requirements include strong organizational skills, guest service experience, computer skills including Word, Excel & Outlook, an outgoing personality and the desire to help others.

Objective

  • The successful candidate for this role will have a proven track record of providing exceptional service, is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally
  • The Assistant Sales Manager will be primarily responsible supporting our Corporate Sales Team and ensuring that they have the tools, supplies and resources that they need to deliver service that sets us apart
  • They responsible for creating a positive guest interaction that will build the guests anticipation for their upcoming visit
  • They must also be knowledgeable on providing accurate information to our guests about the resort, and special events going on during their stay
  • You will answer incoming phone calls, qualify inquiries, set up calls with Corporate Sales Team
  • You will send packages and answer general questions
  • You will create monthly recap of leads and updates
  • You will assist in creating Contracts, Estimates, and Site Tours
  • You will create Sales & Catering kits and restocking supply area as appropriate
  • You will control the office supplies and ordering supplies when necessary
  • You will update Sales System with actuals after completion of events
  • Other administrative tasks related to report of Private Events

Requirements

  • 1-3 years previous experience booking private events to in a hospitality environment as well as prior banquet and restaurant management experience.
  • Excellent computer skills working with Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe and familiarity with restaurant POS application and Open Table
  • Should be extremely well organized, excellent communication skills, and energetic.
