Stories Servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences timely and to temperature. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. This person must have exceptional communication skills as well as superior guest service abilities. Servers engage in casual conversation and enhance the experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Stories is a chef-driven specialty restaurant. This is a fast paced position with constant customer interaction. Prior serving experience in a fine dining, specialty or chef driven restaurant is required.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have full availability in evenings with a call time of 3:30p-4:00p
• Must be available weekends and holidays
• 2-3 years of serving experience in a fine dining restaurant required
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Wine and beverage knowledge required
• TABC certification is required.
