As an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the precision-driven world of electronics manufacturing.
Your responsibilities encompass a range of critical tasks, from machine set-up to meticulous PCB (Printed Circuit Board) inspection, ensuring the smooth operation of the SMT assembly line.
Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the production of high-quality electronic components.
As an SMT Operator, you will report to the Production Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Machine set-up to job specs
- Operating SMT machines
- Set up of SMT assembly line
- PCB inspection
- Monitoring and maintaining machinery and equipment
- Use of calipers and micrometers subassembly and use of blueprints and drawings
Required Education and Experience
- Experience with Juki, Mirtec (AOI) and MPM machines or other SMT Pick and Place
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with electronic component identification.
- Ability to follow the production schedule, and all production and safety procedures.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to read and interpret shop floor paperwork.
