Concrete Workers: Experience in forming, prepping, pouring and finishing a variety of concrete products such as Footings, Walls, Slabs, Lots, Curbs, and Drives is preferred. Finishers will perform and workers will assist with the following: Form and Prep Concrete, Pour & Finish Concrete, Seal and Saw Cut Concrete.

• FORM AND PREP: Set safety barricades. Prep Sub Grade. Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them. Inspect the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed. Install reinforcement materials.
• POUR AND FINISH: Coordinate with truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete. Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power screed, and float. Finish concrete per specifications using Float Trowels, Jointers, Edgers, Etc. Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process. Direct the casting of the concrete and direct helpers who use shovels or special tools to spread it. Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge. Check to assure job containment and safety barricades are in place as needed. Operate power vibrator to compact concrete as needed. Chip, Scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete, using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools.
• SEAL AND SAW CUT: Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods, and position reinforcing rods to repair concrete, using power saw and drill. Cut expansion/control joints. Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, and waterproof or restore surface. Remove job containment and safety barricades
