Our client, a renowned national culinary arts institution based in Austin, TX, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director of Admissions . This role will be instrumental in leading the admissions process and shaping the future of the institution. Our client is looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in higher education admissions, sales, marketing and recruitment, coupled with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.

Director of Admissions Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive admissions strategies to attract and enroll qualified candidates in alignment with the institution's goals and objectives
• Manage and mentor 6 admissions staff, providing guidance, training and support to ensure their success in meeting enrollment targets
• Collaboration with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials to attract prospective students will be a key responsibility. Utilize sales techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of our client's programs
• Organize and participate in recruitment events, including open houses, campus tours and off-site presentations, to engage with potential students and promote our client's programs
• Oversee the admissions process, including the review of applications, transcripts and other relevant documents to assess candidate suitability for admission
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective students, parents, guidance counselors and other stakeholders to address inquiries, provide guidance and facilitate a positive admissions experience will be essential
• Analyze admissions data and trends to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making related to recruitment strategies and enrollment goals
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards governing admissions processes and practices is a crucial aspect of the role

Director of Admissions Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience overseeing admissions in the higher education space
• A proven track record of success in sales, marketing and recruitment is necessary
• Strong leadership and people management skills are essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Austin, TX
