We are looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team and help us deliver complex and challenging projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, as well as experience in managing projects from start to finish. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and managing project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Overseeing the design, construction, and completion of projects.
- Monitoring project budgets and costs.
- Coordinating work load with engineers and designers.
- Ensuring that projects meet all quality and safety standards.
- Communicating progress to stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Promoting business development through relationship-building with current clients and book of business.
The ideal candidate will have or be:
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Have the ability to work with minimal supervision, while providing best-in-class client service and employee oversight.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have experience in consulting engineering practices.
- Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 in project management.
- A valid PE license in good standing from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
