Medical Assistants (MA) are a key role in our practice.

Job duties include but are not limited too:

o Correctly identify patients

o Responsible for prepping patients and their EMR for each office and each telehealth appointment with accurate and detailed required information prior to the providers start of visit which includes but is not limited to the following:

• Rooming the patient in a timely manner, weight, vital signs, detailed/accurate/current medication list and verification of pharmacy, updated vaccine list, and update/review of medical history, living will status, alcohol/drug/tobacco use, New patients & Hospital follow-ups – review new patient packet with patient & enter all information into the EMR, maintin the disinfection and cleanliness of the exam rooms and equipment, scanning documents into the EMR, collecting information for transplant packets, answer phone as needed, check temperature on refrigerator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.53 per hour
