Huntingdon Valley Country Club is looking for Full & Part-Time Dishwashers to join our growing staff. In these roles you will work alongside our current team members. Candidate should possess an efficient work ethic with a friendly professional demeanor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for washing, sanitizing & properly storing all pots, pans, flatware, glassware, plates & chaffing dishes.
• Performs cleaning & daily up-keep of the sink and all related areas.
• Responsible for maintaining & organizing the various small ware, glassware, flatware, china & banquet tray storage areas.
• Sweeps & mops kitchen floors after every shift before you leave.
• Daily completion of designated cleaning assigned by the Chefs.
• Collects & empties all trash & recycling from the kitchen area.
• Cleans & maintains all trash cans.
• Cleans & maintains the dumpster & outdoor recycling area daily. This includes picking up any loose debris, broken glass & boxes.
• Assists in cleaning & maintaining all food storage areas including walk-in refrigerators & freezers.
• Notifies Executive Chef & Sous Chef regarding broken and damaged equipment.
• Performs other daily duties as assigned by the Executive Chef & Sous Chef.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Ability to follow verbal instructions in English
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to follow directions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Be able to follow workplace safety procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
